    The spirited and romantic musical story of Maria and the von Trapp Family will once again thrill audiences with its Tony, Grammy and Academy Award-winning Best Score filled with timeless classics including “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi,” “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” “Edelweiss” and the title song. Share all your favorite songs with your family with this "Sparkling, fresh and lively" (Los Angeles Times) new production.

    THE SOUND OF MUSIC features music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, suggested by “The Trapp Family Singers” by Maria Augusta Trapp.

    Patrons are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items and new, unwrapped toys when they attend events at the theatre. Food donations will benefit FISH of Greater New Haven which provides grocery assistance to the home-bound in New Haven, and toys will be distributed through the New Haven Fire Department.
