About Jim Brickman
Jim Brickman is the best-selling solo pianist of our time, earning 21 number one albums, 32 Top 20 radio hits, and two Grammy nominations. His first album release was 1995’s “No Words,” and he’s gone on to sell eight million albums worldwide.
His star-studded vocal collaborations have crossed genres to feature luminaries like Martina McBride, Donny Osmond, Kenny Rogers, Olivia Newton-John, Johnny Mathis and Kenny Loggins amongst many others. He’s written three best-selling books, starred in four TV concert specials, and is in the 23rd season of hosting the popular syndicated radio show: “The Jim Brickman Show.”
About Chrissy Metz
Emmy and two-time Golden Globe nominee Chrissy Metz stars in the award-winning NBC series, "This Is Us", winner of the 2018 and 2019 SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series and People's Choice Award for "Favorite New TV Drama.” People magazine named her to the "Ones to Watch” and “50 Most Beautiful.”
Chrissy stars in the indie film, "Stay Awake", which is a humanizing look at opioid addiction. Chrissy plays Michelle, a loving and well-meaning mother of two whose struggle with prescription drug addiction is adversely affecting her entire family. Wyatt Oleff (“It,” “I Am Not Okay with This”) plays Ethan, the quick-witted younger brother about to leave the nest, and Fin Argus (“Clouds”) plays Derek, the eldest sibling who’s desires to care for his family are keeping him from moving forward with his own life.
Chrissy also starred in the lead role in the box office hit “Breakthrough", as well as performing the Oscar-nominated title song “I’m Standing With You,” written by Diane Warren. Following her performance at the 2020 Oscars, Metz signed a record deal with Universal Music Group Nashville.
Chrissy’s other credits include Superstore, The Last OG, American Horror Story: Freak Show, My Name if Earl, Entourage, and the Netflix film, Sierra Burguss.
Chrissy's memoir, "This Is Me" debuted at #1 on The New York Times Bestseller list as well as her Children’s Book, "When I Talk To God, I Talk About You", which is paired with her album, "Prayed For This Day.”
“Because the books foundation is a gentle introduction to prayer a children’s album just felt like a natural extension. The thru lines from book to songs were all about bolstering young minds and hearts with encouragement, self-esteem and unconditional love. How fitting that my Grandmother always said, singing is like praying twice." - Chrissy Metz
Chrissy Metz is from Homestead, Florida. The middle child of five siblings, Chrissy took the spotlight as the ‘entertaining diplomat' of the family. She moved to Japan as an infant and lived there for 9 years before moving back to the States, speaking Japanese before she even spoke English.
After being discovered in Gainesville, Florida at a local talent event that she originally attended as a chaperone for her sister, she packed up and moved to Los Angeles to find her way into entertainment.
