Lyfe Jennings

Lyfe Jennings is an American singer, songwriter, and producer best known for R&B hits throughout the 2000s.

  • He made his stage debut at the famed Apollo Theater Amateur Night in 2002, immediately winning over a booing crowd and taking first place five nights in a row.
  • After signing to Columbia Records in 2004, he released the Platinum-certified debut Lyfe 268-192, featuring his best-known song, “Must Be Nice.”
  • The Gold-certified 2006 album The Phoenix hit No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and produced the hit single “S.E.X.”
  • In 2008, he returned to the Apollo Theater where he got his start for a special performance on the TV series Showtime At The Apollo.
